Chavs on bikes – headline in D& S times

    Can someone respond to this?

How about sugesting the Police get some officers on bikes ( like the Comunity Wardens. I expect that DBC could help with supplying bikes and training.
After all why do Chavs use bikes – because hey are a quick, highly mobile and flexible means of transport. A lot more than ca be said of your average plice officer siting in a car or indeed walking he beat. The suggestion that an officer sitting in the CCTV centre will help prevent Chav related crime would be laughable if it weren’t so serious.
