Even Mayday Demos Attract Cyclists

Posted on May 1, 2006

1st May 2006 in Bremen, Germany. The annual May Day demonstration attracts trades unionists and socialists from around the city to march to the Town Hall and declare their unity with the workers of Darlington (and everywhere else).

But their unspoken solidarity with Darlington Cycling Campaign is declared by almost every other demonstrator as they wheel their bikes along.

“Workers of the World Unite. You have nothing to lose but your (Bike) Chains”.
